Mission is more than the activity of the church. Mission is an expression of God. The God who nurtures us leads us to nurture others and equips and educates us to reach out in love. We respond to the needs of others – the hungry, the sick, and victims of wars, disasters, oppression, and exploitation. The God who transforms leads us to transform society, challenge the status quo, confront powers of evil. God calls us to join the oppressed and troubled people in the struggle for liberation, and to work for justice and healing, and wholeness of life.
Our mission is lived out through our many outreach programs that touch the lives of the homeless, the hungry, the lost, and the broken.
Our outreach includes:
Earl’s Place – transitional housing for recovering alcohol and drug addicts.
BARC - local animal shelter
School supplies for local schools
Tailgating for the Homeless – food, gloves and hat
Allen Center for Senior Citizens
